We arrived for a late lunch and were greeted with warmth and great hospitality. Ordered bunch of veg and non Meg options including sweet and mango lassis. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. Naans and Rotis were freshly prepared. They were also able to provide dosa and chole Batuta, which was awesome! Overall a great experience and service was quick! Will definitely go again! This is under new management with new name!

I've been to India Gate twice now and have tried 5 dishes and several types of Naan, and everything was excellent! The best Indian food I've had in Sacramento in 25 years. If you want heat, they will make it spicy. They have a deep menu; dosas, curries, biryani, tandoori, etc. The service was very friendly. Not much ambiance to speak of, it's a little hole-in-the-wall kind of place, but I like these kind of places. It's all about the food anyway. If you like Indian food, just go.

This was by far the best Butter Chicken I've ever had.
I'm glad I took a chance and tried something new.
This place used to be Preethi Indian restaurant. It's now called India Gate Cuisine. New owners and new look.
Major upgrade to the outside, inside and most importantly the FOOD! Can't wait to come back to try the lunch buffet!
